Painted Mural Commissions

For mural projects, a local art selection committee chooses an artist from the Public Artist Roster to create a mural. Usually, the selected artist usually has an artistic focus on murals or large two-dimensional art, but not always. The art selection committee often identifies themes that they consider important to their audience. But they are also interested in the artist's personal style, not just the mural's content or story.
