ABOUT THE ARTWORK

The Oracle is a colorful screen print created by artist Lou Ocepek. He used hand-cut stencils to print eleven different colors one at a time. He notes, "The concept is closely linked with the form and color of the print. The Oracle is a person who is delivering wisdom from a higher source… Thus the clear, clean colors and the multi-hued 'rainbow' entering the top of the print and emerging toward the bottom."
