ABOUT THE ARTWORK
R. Allen Jensen created these abstract steel sculptures for Hollywood Hill Elementary School. They feature fin-like forms. He placed two of the sculptures singularly and three others in a closely spaced group around the school courtyard.

ABOUT THE ARTIST
R. Allen (Bob) Jensen creates an array of artworks in different media. He states that the main focus of his work concerns "self deliverance as a means of enhancing being alive." Jensen is Professor Emeritus of Art at Western Washington University in Bellingham, Northwestern Washington.
