ABOUT THE ARTIST
Terry Lee Johnson is a figurative painter. His art is inspired by personal trauma and pivotal points in life. Johnson grew up in Minnesota. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from St. Cloud State College in Minnesota, and a Master of Fine Arts degree (1978) from the University of Washington in Seattle. He taught at Cornish College of the Arts in Seattle for over twenty years. He lives and works in the San Juan Islands in Puget Sound, Western Washington.
