Terry Lee Johnson is a figurative painter. His art is inspired by personal trauma and pivotal points in life. Johnson grew up in Minnesota. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from St. Cloud State College in Minnesota, and a Master of Fine Arts degree (1978) from the University of Washington in Seattle. He taught at Cornish College of the Arts
