ABOUT THE ARTIST
Bruce Douglas Beal (1938-2022) created paintings and prints inspired by the landscape of the Southern United States. He taught art at Eastern Washington University in Cheney for several decades. Beal was born in Logan, Ohio. He earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree (1966) and a Master of Fine Arts degree (1968) from the Cranbrook Academy of Art in Michigan.
