ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Ocean Through Trees is part of late artist James Sahlstrand's series "Photographs of Washington State." He produced the photographs over the course of a year. He noted, " I attempted to photograph in as many geographical areas of the state as possible: the ocean, mountains, forests and the many aspects of the state east of the Cascades.
