Karen Mason

Karen Mason is an artist and scientist based in the San Francisco Bay Area of California. Mason was born in Tacoma, Western Washington. She received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Ceramics and a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from the University of Washington in 1989. She went on to receive a PhD in Biophysics from Stanford University
