Dudley Carter

Late artist Dudley C. Carter (1891-1992) was a celebrated woodcarver based in the Pacific Northwest. Born in Canada, Carter's early childood was spent living among First Nations peoples, which greatly influenced his art. He moved to Washington State in 1928 and worked as a forest engineer.
