2022 Heritage Caucus

Heritage Caucus will begin on January 12 and will be held virtually on Wednesdays at 7:00 a.m. during the 2022 legislative session. Heritage Caucus is co-chaired by Senator Jim Honeyford and Representative Steve Tharinger. It serves as a forum for sharing ideas, considering policy ramifications, and exploring projects surrounding arts, heritage, and science activities across Washington. The Caucus is co-staffed by ArtsWA and the Washington Historical Society (WSHS).

ArtsWA will publish the Heritage Caucus Bill report on this website each Tuesday at 5:00 p.m. beginning January 11. and present it at the Caucus. The report is a roundup of current legislation that is of interest to the Caucus and may have an impact on the field. In addition to the weekly bill report, each Heritage Caucus features two presentations from the field, scheduled in advance. WSHS coordinates the presentations and agendas. If you are interested in being added to the Heritage Caucus email list to receive the agendas and Zoom links please email HERE.
