Celebrate ‘Circle of Light’ at the Fair!

Join ArtsWA and special guests on Thursday, September 29 at the Central Washington State Fair in Yakima for a ceremony in honor of Dick Elliott’s artwork and its restoration—30 years to the day from Circle of Light’s original dedication.

We will gather at the Pacific Power Community Stage from 4:30 to 5:00 p.m. to celebrate, where you can be among the first to hear a new poem commemorating Circle of Light and its creator.

Explore and read more about the restoration of Circle of Light.

How to park and attend

On the day of the event, enter the “Gold Lot and Passenger Drop Off” at 1301 South Fair Avenue.

Let the attendant at the Gold Lot entrance know you are attending the Circle of Light re-dedication.

They will give you fair admission tickets for everyone in your vehicle, as well as complimentary parking in the Gold Lot.

Plan extra time to account for Fair traffic.

After the re-dedication, please stay and enjoy the Fair!
