In late May, the conservation team from Architectural Resources Group (ARG) met on-site with the construction team from Burton Construction (of Spokane). Now that field conditions are known, they finalized the process for reflector removal, concrete cleaning, and reflector installation. This phase sets the stage for ensuring that the project is done in accordance with the artist’s vision, restoration best practices, and with durability in mind.
