ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This print is part of artist Sally Schuh's conceptual series that combines disjointed images and text to create new stories. This artwork uses images and text from a collection of Polaroid photos and index cards that were originally used for a dating service in the 1960s and 1970s. She notes, “While I am curious about the meaning found in the original material, I am more compelled to construct new meaning that has grown out of the loss and retrieval of missing and altered information.”
This artwork was acquired for the State Art Collection in partnership with .
